Long Term Care

LongTermCare.gov is a website produced by the Administration for Community Living, which is part of the Federal Department of Health and Human Services.

The site aims to dispel common myths about long term health care and provide people with the clear and accurate information they need in order to plan ahead and make informed decisions for the future.  A particularly useful feature of this website is its PathFinder section, in which information is tailored to you according to your answers.  This means you can easily access the relevant information you need.

This covers anything from where you may live, the costs you may have to cover, and ways to finance these costs.  From this is it possible to then access more detailed information about these questions on the website.  Often people do not plan ahead for the future and find themselves unprepared; this website helps to prevent people from ending up in that situation.
