Good Neighbor, SAM’S
Sam’s Club Visits Project FIND

In the midst of what feels like an endless heat wave, SAM’S CLUB in Secaucus, New Jersey donated 100 air conditioners to Project FIND for the tenants in The Hargrave and The Hamilton.

SAM’S CLUB personnel brought balloons and banners along when the retailer donated 100 air conditioners to Project FIND on July 20th.

"We truly appreciate SAM'S CLUB donation to our seniors," Cynthia Dial, Executive Director of Project FIND, said. “It's always important to us that our residents be comfortable and safe, especially during the hot and muggy summer months. SAM'S CLUB's generosity will help make that happen."
The air conditioning units, made by GE, were offered first to tenants in the two buildings who currently have no air conditioning. A lottery was then held to distribute units to tenants who wanted to replace an older air conditioner or add a second unit in their apartment. In addition, several air conditioners were set aside for common areas, such as the arts and crafts room in Hamilton.

A number of seniors attended the press event and entered the lottery to win a free air conditioner.
Project FIND and SAM’S CLUB make the news! The air conditioner donation was covered on the noon news broadcast on WABC.
Jane L. Fogel, Regional Sales Manager for SAM’S CLUB, made the presentation of the air conditioners at The Hargrave on July 20th. Mark Merritt, General Manager of SAM’S CLUB in Secaucus, and Mohamed Khan, Director of Operations, attended, as did a number of other SAM’S CLUB personnel.
