Strength Training with Rachel Eisenman

Rachel Eisenman is the Project Find Fitness Coordinator and Strength Training Instructor. Strength Training was added to our schedule in 2003 and has a strong group of followers. Many of the seniors have seen positive changes in their exercise performance as well as in their everyday lives.

The class is geared towards muscular fitness and functional strength. Participants are led through a thorough warm-up which includes a brief session of chair aerobics. Next is a series of strength exercises for the legs, core, back, shoulders and arms. There is also a special session dedicated to balance. The workout concludes with relaxing stretches for all the major muscles of the body.
