Supportive Housing Movement
Project FIND received an Award from the Supportive Housing Network of New York for extraordinary compassion, intelligence and rock-solid determination along with other agencies that led to the creation of supportive housing.
Ms.Elizabeth Stecher Trebony, who created Project FIND was the first to begin the process of buying and rehabbing an old SRO and turning it into supportive housing although completing the task of turning the old Woodstock Hotel into supportive housing. Mr. Bill Traylor, ProjectFIND's Board Chair was one of the advocates for Supportive Housing at Catholic Charities Brooklyn and Queens.
