Learn about the Elderly Homeless

Project FIND provides a gateway for the homeless elderly to transition from life on the streets to stable housing

Our Homeless In-Reach program works to:

- Provide a safe space where they can shower, get clean clothes and a meal

- Connect them with a social worker who can help obtain all their benefits

- Assess their need for medical and mental health services

- Reconnect homeless seniors with supportive networks of family and friends

Statistics show that the number of homeless elderly has shot up 55% in the last decade, 28% of that jump is in just the last two years.

On average we place one formerly homeless senior in housing every 5.5 days –all year long!
