Learn the Reasons People Are Homeless 

Nationally the Recession pushed the number of renters paying more than half their income for housing to record levels, according to a new report from the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies (JCHS, 2011).

Today, one in four renters, or 10.1 million households, spends more than half their income on rent and utilities. Seniors living on limited incomes are particularly vulnerable.
