Senior Center Closings: January 2 and 3rd, 2014

Due to the blizzard like conditions predicted for tomorrow The Clinton Senior Center at 530 West 55th St (between 10th & 11th Avenues), the Coffeehouse Senior Center at 31 West 42nd Street between 8th & 9th Avenues)the Woodstock Senior Center at 127 West 43rd St and the Hamilton Senior Center at 141 West 73 St will be closed on Friday, January 3rd 2014.

The Thursday, January 2nd night dinner at Coffeehouse is also cancelled.

The news is reporting light snow Thursday morning, approximately 1 inch with a temperature of 32 degrees.  This will turn into blizzard like conditions of up to 6-8 inches of snow and temperatures of 14 – 18 degrees (for Thursday night and all day Friday). The real feel temperature (Wind Chill) for Thursday night into Friday night will be zero to minus 5 degrees. There is also possibility of high tide flooding on Friday morning in the low lying areas.
