Volunteers Needed!
Happy New Year!
We are in search of volunteers to assist with our upcoming holiday party (1/20) for Project FIND staff and to honor our former Executive Director, David Gillcrist who has recently retired.
We want to give staff a break, some of whom work at their own holiday party, which is why we are in search of volunteers to assist.
Here are some details:
Project FIND staff holiday party
Date: Friday, January 20, 2023
Event Time: 3:00 pm-6:00 pm
Location: Hamilton Older Adult Center 141 West 73rd Street
Activities with which we need help from volunteers: set up and positioning of tables; setting tables with decorations etc; 2-3 volunteers to assist with sign-in/registration; 2 volunteers to assist with manning tables with buffet style meal (replenishing trays of food; keeping table area clean); volunteers to assist with rearranging tables after the event.
All tolled we need about 8-10 volunteers. We can work with volunteers in shifts as well if for example, someone is only available to help with set up. As of now we are projecting set up to occur at approximately 2:00 pm. For example, if someone assists with sign-in/registration, the time we would need them would be from 2:30 pm on…
