Drawn Together Dances the Summer In

An Indian Dance Lesson gets the crowd on its feet at this art exhibition and community drawing party. Also present was a life model (costumed) from which attendees could draw though out the entire event. 

On exhibit were shadowboxes along with collages created during weekly art classes at Hamilton Innovative Senior Center. Inspired by Joseph Cornell's iconic shadow boxes which reflected the ordinary objects that surrounded him and the scientific and artistic fields that sparked his curiosity-space, birds, ballet, music.

This inspiring and innovative class was funded through the office of Helen Rosenthal, our City Council Member for District 6!
