Dusty Baker
2025 Event Honoree
Dusty Baker is a legendary Major League Baseball figure whose career spans nearly six decades. As a player, he starred as a two-time All-Star, Gold Glove, and two-time Silver Slugger-winning outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers and captured the 1981 World Series after earning the first-ever National League Championship Series MVP award. In a storied managerial career, he led five different franchises the Giants, Cubs, Reds, Nationals, and Astros to both playoff berths and division titles, becoming the first manager ever to do so. In 2022, after more than 25 seasons and over 2,000 career managerial victories, Dusty achieved the pinnacle: guiding the Houston Astros to a long awaited World Series championship. Now serving in a front-office advisory capacity, his leadership, perseverance, and deep experience continue to inspire across generations of baseball.
